OVERVIEW

The relationship of a partner to the Home Office needs to be one of accountability and responsibility in maintaining the integrity of Messengers of Mercy and the One we serve, Jesus Christ. The following policies have been set up to keep a focus of excellence in working for the service of God and man.

Partnership requirements:

  • Agree with our Statement of Faith.
  • Agree to follow appropriate and God-honoring procedures and courtesies in procuring materials and supplies (representing not only M.O.M., but the God we serve!).
  • Agree with our Purpose Statement.
  • Agree to provide the necessary documents for Home Office files. This helps to keep the Home Office current on all ongoing projects and to develop records for future referencing and research.
  • Prompt financial fulfillment of monthly support sent to administrate the Home Office.

Governing structure needed for a supporting church:

  • Priority of prayer for the ministry.
  • Committee or board created with a chairman, secretary, treasurer, etc.
  • Financial accountability reported to Home Office.
  • Scheduled regular meetings to establish goals and involve all members.
  • Regular documentation of projects and specific interests with the Home Office.
  • Work with the Home Office in uniting our efforts in establishing a Korean-American ministry through Messengers of Mercy (Korean and American believers in Christ uniting for one common purpose).
